I have a computer connected to a Samsung LN-37A450 37" LCD TV. I've used a normal computer audio cable and connected it to the TV. However, I can not hear anything when I use my computer.

I'm not sure if I am using the right audio cable or if there is any special audio cables that I should use with my TV.

  1. Since you are using regular RCA Re/White audio cables hooked straight into your computer, it's safe to assume that you are hooking it into an sound card of some type. Make sure that you are connected to the right sound connections. First check to make sure that your connections on the computer are inputs and not outputs. Then go into your Sound and Audio Devices under the Control Panel and make sure that you have the sound playback under the Audio tab correctly set to the sound card. Most computers are defaulted to audio output and not set to audio input. Good luck!

  2. By right, u shld be able to hear the audio unless u have connected the cables wrongly or just that ur TV does not support ur computer model or vice versa.
