  1. Joe is right , your question is way to vague, need more input!!  


  2. Go to Control Panel > Folder Options > File Types.  Find the entry for AVI or WMV or whatever it is.. You will see Opens with.  If you want to change it, click Change.

    give an example of what you mean.
