Question:

I can occasionaly smell coconut?

why is that? there is no coconut around. i just get a small wiff then its gone!

  1. people with tumors usually have phantom smells...

    you've probably got a tumor or something...


  2. probably its the glutamate that is also found in our body....coconut also has glutamate....

    psychologically you might have craved for it

  3. Did you know, that if you smell something one day, small air bourne molecules of the smell can stay in your nose and get coated by mucus/dust. Then over following weeks, when mucus, dust, bogies etc are removed, fall out, retracted, the molecules can become free again. People who snort cocaine and stop for months can find granules of it 6 months later in their nose! You might have smelt someones coconut shampoo when walking past them, or eaten a bounty or something!

  4. Maybe it's someone you know who uses a coconut shampoo or conditioner...

  5. I would have my blood sugar checked.  Smelling fruity smells is one symptom of diabetes.
