I can only hear from one side of my bose in-ear-headphones?

i got my bose in-ear-headphones last november(2007) and they worked great but just recently when i try to play a song or a movie i can only hear out of the right side of them. sometimes when i move the cord around i can hear from the left side again but usually i can't. please help. anyone who helps me to get them to work properley again will get ten points

Sounds like there is some kind of a short in your wire. I get that too on my less expensive headphones. I normally throw them away and buy a new set after that. Since you have the Bose I would see if you can get a replacement cord or check the website for any tips on fixing it. Other then splicing a wire I dont know if you can fix them.

Unfortunately, it sounds as if the wire into the left earphone has been pulled out a little.  Try pushing it a bit into the earphone, and secure the connection with a bit of transparent tape.
