Question:

I can only land a moving ollie with my front foot. How do i land it properly?

I started skateboarding about 3 weeks ago, i can ride it fine and i can do an ollie while standing still but when i try to do it while moving, i ollie, my front foot lands on the deck but my back footis way behind me on the floor. how do i land it properly?

  1. you have to lean forward and jump over the board because if you stand in the same position you stand for a stationary ollie youll land behind the board,try leaning forward more .


  2. your just being a little scared. if you go for it youll come close to landing it every time.

  3. Ollies take a long time to learn so don't worry. I've been skateboarding for about 8 years and I can ollie 5 decks on their side. To get your ollies working correctly, you should learn how to do it while moving. The height of the ollie depends on how you move your front foot, as does the pop. Get your pop working good and QUICK (Key) and move your front foot, slide it up the board as fast as you can and suck it up towards your thighs as much as you can. Keep practicing and you will get it.
