I think this is a great question.  Well, go online and search for your local Recycling company and then you'll find a page that tells you where you can drop off things that they won't pick up at your curb.

recycling is a good idea, but it is a money making enterprise wherever it is done.  If the recycling centers near you don't take 3 - 7, then there is nothing you can do unless you open your own recycling center....

sorry, but mankind will only recycle if he can make a buck off of it...its not all that altruistic man....
