  1. Not to be cruel, but if you can only ride rights you are just a beginner. To ride lefts, start by taking off at an angle on smaller waves. Once you get used to that try a straight drop, with a slow bottom turn to your left.

  2. Just gotta practice. Start taking off to the left and working it back-side.

I ride goofy and in the winter, all the breaks are right. I've learned that a back-side cutback is one of my most favorite turns!

  3. Hey there , I am a natural footer (what you call regular), with riding backhand just practice, you will enjoy riding with your back to the wall. You will find with dedication to practice on the lefts (even though maybe not your strongest point) your skill level will skyrocket, and it will be all round better for your surfing. I sometimes like lefts better than rights, depending on the break of course. Cheers.

  4. i have the same problem with rights u grab ur rail and  aim left and u will shoot out fast when ur on the wave just start getting up so just grab ur rail thn dig into the wave thts wat i do and it always works

  5. remember to lean forward, not back into the wave, it may help to hold your outside rail with your right hand, keeping your left shoulder open. I know where you're coming from, hope this helps.
