I can only run for 5 minutes and need to run for 10 can you help?

in gym we have to do a 10 minute run test every friday today we did it and i can only run for five minutes and my calfs started hurting and i was all outta breath what can i do to be able to run for 10 minutes next friday

  1. Run/jog slower and when you run keep your feet low ,but not shuffling your feet, just low enough that you won't feel like you're slamming the ground every step. Don't worry if people are faster than you just take it nice and easy and you should be able to make the 10 minutes.
