    200m - 26 seconds

    if so then DEFINITELY not sprinting

    i don't know what people are talking about that being a 12s 100m and 26s 200m

    to run a 100m in 12seconds you need an AVERAGE speed of 18.63mph and a top speed of around 20-23mph

    i run a 100m in 12 flat

    to run a 200m in 26seconds you need an AVERAGE speed of 17.20mph and a top speed of 19-21mph

    and your AVERAGE speed of your 200m should be faster than your average speed of your 100m though your 100m should have a faster TOP speed.

    for example my:

    100m - 12.00s - average speed 18.63mph - top speed 20-22mph

    200m - 23.8s - average speed 18.79mph - top speed 19-21mph

    if you have a top speed of 10mph

    you should be doing some longer races AND try training your speed up

  3. Go for the longer distances, 400m or more. 100m and to stand a chance you need to sprint at about 18mph or more. Longer distances are slower races and with 10mph you will do better there.

  4. 100m-12 seconds

    200m-20seconds

    400m- 50 seconds

  5. At Summit Sports Training, there is a treadmill that goes up to 28 mph. I run 20.5 mph for 8 seconds. I am 14. To put this all into perspective, I run a 12.2 100m. You'd probably runn  like an 18 second
