I can send mail to anyone except my yahoo groups, why?

I received e-mail from yahoo telling me my name was blocked. I send yahoo groups mail to my church group and to some firends (all adults over 18). I did as told. This was about 4 days ahgo and cannot still send anything, I need to send mail to my groups.

  1. there is a individual setting on groups an owner can check so a member(s) cant post. hard to know if this is why. the letter from yahoo would be where you'd determine the answer. did it say why and where the block was? if there is a link to reply to that yahoo mail, I'd ask them about this.


  2. It's difficult to understand exactly what your problem is. Here are a couple of things that could be causing it.

    Your church group and/or some of your friends have blocked emails coming from you; therefore your emails cannot be delivered to them and bounce.  

    OR

    If you are trying to send emails to a Yahoo group in which you are a member and Yahoo sent you that email about being blocked from it, that means the Yahoo group owner/moderator has set your group account so that you cannot post messages to it.  If this is the case, you can send a private email to the Yahoo group owner and ask why or what the problem is.  Go to the Yahoo groups home page, down at the bottom you will see the email address for the group owner.
