He doesn't like Wellness, Science Diet, Nutro Max, Purina One, and I won't feed him any low quality kinds like Kibbles 'n' Bits, Pedigree, or Alpo. I am O.K. feeding him brands from Purina, but if I can steer clear of it, I will. PLEASE HELP!

  1. How old is your dog? try Iams....its about the same price as Nutro and Purina Pro Plan.  Try Chicken or lamb flavor. No beef

  2. Wow. All the brands you listed are absolute c**p save Wellness. Not as crappy as the lower quality ones you listed, but still crappy. Try Canidae.

  3. Whatever your dog will eat!!

I tried many of the expensive brands for my dog and after a day or two she would stop eating them, including Nutro the food she was wean on.  It was very frustrating for me because she was a growing puppy (a large breed) and needed to eat.  Then one day I REALLY needed to buy her some food, I was completely out and I tried Beneful because it was on sale.

She loved it, and still does years later.

Is it crappy, probably....but how's your diet!

She's happy, healthy, energetic and 80lbs of pure love!
