I can tell my gap is opening again, what should i do?

i got my braces off on the 13th of this month. My teeth were perfect and fine until this morning. My gap front tooth is starting to open again. I had my braces for over a year and a half. Is this common. I won't get my retainers for another two weeks. Do you think that they will keep opening even more?
