I can work as care worker in aged care centers

i am indian registred nurse, come to perth with my husband under dependent visa. i scored 5.5 in IELTS, i can work as care nurse in aged care centers at perth? if yes what i should to get the job?

Write a resume where you focus on your skill sets that you can transfer to working with the aged...like helping patients maintain as much independence as possible; be respectful; clean someone after accident; take pressure; do visual exams looking for things like swollen extremities,etc.  Review pt's record before you see them; your good at keeping timely recording  & statistics.  Work well with colleagues & in team approach.

Call the head of nursing & if there are no openings ask if you can come in for an informational interview.

Join local  chapter of Nursing Association to look for jobs.

Send your resumes out to places you think you'd like to work at.

Individualize Cover letter to include things about the specific place if you can research it.
