I cann't play chess, it is advised that change the old version. But I couldn't success , could you help?

Ä°n spite of restart my browser and come back to retreive the current version it didn't worked. I tried manually clearing my browser's cache but I didn't make. Coud you describe how this could be made? Thanks in advance.

Normal ways of clearing cache( deleting browser history, temp files, cookies) does not remove older outdated game demos

Click on  Start button, ,Search, type in yahoo chess. When file comes up, right click on it then click remove. Next trip to chess it will prompt you to download the new demo for latest version of yahoo chess.

I use Flash 9   it has no bearing on game playing .Yahoo updated chess!

Hi

The cause of this problem has finally been found. The problem don't  lie with the cache it lies with the newer version of Adobe Flash that is version 9,0,115,0 and above.

Any amount of clearing of the cache is not going to help.

If you want you play chess in flash (ie new yahoo chess) then you have to uninstall the newer version and install an older version of Adobe flash like 7 or 8.

But installing the old version of adobe flash may cause you problems while using few other websites which depend on newer version of flash.

It is unlikely the problem will be fixed in near future.

One possible solution is that install a new version of flash in Internet explorer for regular use and an Old version in a differ rent browser like firefox for playing chess or the vice versa.

If he or she is talking about browsers and playing chess, it sounds like they are indeed trying to play chess on-line. If that is the case and he or she is having no luck getting started then it could be a couple of things:

(1) Do you have the right plug in installed? Some sites like chess.net use a jave interface. Do you have java?

(2) Are you entering the right information? Generally certain sites require "Guest" and not your name to be entered in the java interface if you do not want to register as a member

(3) How is your anti virus & firewall software configered? You might to check how anti virus & firewall software is set up because it could be blocking your attempt at connect to a chess server via your browser
