I cannot access certain parts of yahoo

Question

This includes the My Yahoo and Yahoo Games, Yahoo Xtra. Keeps coming up Internet explorer cannot display the web page, then it goes on to most likely causes. When I try diagnose connection problems that comes up that the host may be down. I don't see how this can be considering people I know who are online and playing themselves in games and can access their yahoo page. I have been trying for the last 2 or so hours to access either or any of these pages. HELP! frustrations kicking in :(
