I cannot delete any of. I cannot delete any of my songs from my player and they just keep adding

I cannot delete any of my songs from my player and they just keep adding the songs on, so now I have the songs 3 times each on it. I just wnat to delete everything and start over. But it is saying songs cannot be deleted. Help please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
