Going to "history" and hitting "delete" does do the job. It just deletes web sites visited and NOT previousl web SEARCHES.

  1. Tools > delete search history

  2. empty your cache, delete your browsing history and temporary files

  3. what type of computer do you have...... go delete cookies..... if working on a mac on the safari tab you can go to reset safari and it will delete everything. On a PC I think you go to history and delete and when the little message pops up you should check the box to delete the cookies or something like that. That might fix your problem. I been working on a mac for a while though so don't quote me on that.

  4. You need to clear or disable Auto Complete. This saves all previous searches in your search bar. Here's how to fix the problem:

For Internet Explorer: Click on Tools. Then Internet Options. Click on Content and then Auto Complete. Then click on Clear Forms. This will erase your search history. If you don't want things showing up again in your search history then deselect the Auto Complete options at the top. Be sure to select apply or ok at the bottom

  5. You need to go into your internet options and there should be an option to delete browsing history.
