  1. [Edited to add info 2-10-08]  I just tested one of my own files and could edit it with no problem.  You might need to send a help request form to Yahoo Customer Care to see if they can help you get that problem fixed.  Here is link to that help form:

Sometimes a group's Files are wider than what shows up on your monitor screen.  If that's the case with your group, try opening an existing file.  Now look near bottom of screen for a horizontal scroll bar.  Use that scroll bar to scroll to the far right side of page.

Then you will see the Actions column "Edit  Delete  Cut".  Click on Edit.  When finished, click Save Changes.

If this does not work for you, there must be a temporary Yahoo glitch making it impossible at the time to edit files.  This is happening right now in my group's Calendar feature.

  2. across from each file it says edit- do you see that? only text created files can have the content edited. files that were uploaded and lets say for example, a PDF file, you cannot edit that content from the group. the only thing you'd be able to edit of those uploaded files is title and description.

    this may be the issue.
