Here's the story:

I'm applying for a position at Washington University in Saint Louis, and for the life of me I cannot figure out whom I'm supposed to address my cover letter to. I called the Human Resources Office, and then they sent me to some other employment office--and I don't even know if THIS is the right one. Anyway, I can't get a hold of a REAL person on the phone--just a bunch of automated messages--and so I'm not sure who I'm supposed do address my cover letter to. Here's the address of the place:

Danforth Employment Office

Washington University

7509 Forsyth Blvd., Suite 158

Clayton, MO 63105

One the automated message, the said some people would be going over the application, and then those people would send it to a hiring manager (don't know who this person is). Should I address it to the Hiring Manager? If so, must I put that in the address at the top? Help!!!!!!
