I cannot open Windows Media Player. I get this message when I try to open it.?

Question

The file wmploc.dll has a version number of 11.0.6000.6324 where 11.0.6000.6344 was expected. Windows media player is not installed properly and must be reinstalled. I need help to get it reinstalled, but first I need to uninstall & I cannot find the file to uninstall it. I have windows Vista. (Yuk!)

Just do a download and install right over the top of your current install, the old files will be overwritten by the correct newer files
