I cannot open my sons Science Museum Lock N safe...

Question

I bought my 7yr old son a Science Museum Lock N Safe money box for Christmas and he was so excited that he promptly put every penny of his savings inside it - he now wants to spend some of his money and we cannot find the manual anywhere to figure out how we open it for him. Please help.
