I cannot open the messages icon on homepage to view postings after signing in. I am a new yahoo user.?

Mail settings can be fickle at best when viewing from your homepage....sometimes the info doesn't get updated....just go directly to mail and you won't have that problem.

I suspect that you have Java Script errors on the page that prevent you from clicking on that button and also the page selection drop down. If so, you need to find out which module is giving you Java script errors and then remove that module.
