I cannot post a picture online, I already compressed it to small, still not taking it, why?

Hi there friends,

I took some pictures with my webcam, but having problems posting to my profile online because I dont know how to do jpeg, bmp etc, i already compressed pic to small size yet its not accepting it?

please help, as u can tell im not a computer person :)

sounds like the picture is save as the wrong file type . it is not formatted in a form they allow on there sight .  it should say what type files you can download.. just go back and save file as a type they accept the you can down load that file .. jep or bitmap is the most common picture formats .
