The Rossoneri chief rules out possibility of signing http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Carlos-c8346 Tevez from Manchester City, but still holding chance of signing a player
A.C Milan Vice-President, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Filippo-Inzaghi-c13777’s stay at San Siro.
Galliani recently admitted that the Rossoneri will sign one of Maxi Lopez or Carlos Tevez, and after signing the latter, he confirmed that no more business will be done in the transfer window. However, now he has once again sparked
rumours of Carlos Tevez’s arrival at the club.
The Manchester City striker has been linked with the Italian Champions for the past two months, and after failing in his signature, the Rossoneri signed Lopez instead. However, Galliani insists that Tevez will not arrive because
there is too much complication in the deal. He also said that Milan will not sign Tevez even if the City Chairman rings him to approve the deal.
While talking to the reporters, Galliani said,
“The market is extremely dynamic - things can happen in 24 hours that do not happen in a period of months. The phone rings every 30 seconds, it seems like an action movie. I’m not saying Tevez will arrive, this is clear. However,
the latest transfer campaigns have taught me better than to make predictions. If Manchester City’s chairman called me tonight and offers me Tevez….I don’t think it will happen.”
On the other hand, the 67-year-old rejected talks linking veteran striker, Filippo Inzaghi, with a move to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lazio-c39775. Galliani admitted that the former Italian international has not asked for a move, and if he demands to leave than
they will oblige him.
“My prediction is that he will remain. He has won many medals and so if he asks to leave then we will make him happy. Until now, however, he has not asked and I think he will stay at Milan.”
Inzaghi needs only four goals to equal http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-c31294 Baggio’s record of 292 goals in Italian football, and lack of first-team football at San Siro is stopping him from achieving the feat.
