I had seen this movie like before some months, but I cannot remember the title and I am looking for it...

It was a blond guy called John--something and he was like a soldier to some special army for fighting some creatures like aliens-spiders... And then him and his buddies were fighting those in a planet full of sand and they sucked their blood from some... A bit creepy.
