I can receive e-mails on my BB, but I cannot send e-mails, whether it is composing a new e-mail, replying, or forwarding an e-mail. Error message on my BB says: "Message Status: Message included an invalid address" with a big red X nex to the message.

I don't if this complicates things, but, I have my "YahooID", but my actual e-mail address is "yahooid@rocketmail.com". When Yahoo acquired rocketmail a long time ago, I (short-sightedly) chose to keep the "@rocketmail.com" designation instead of switching to "@yahoo.com".

  1. Instead of trying to configure all that - why not just use Yahoo Go

It will automatically sync with mail and there is nothing to set up.

If you are unable to download and rather not, jsut check on the mobile web

    either way go to

    download Yahoo GO

    http://mobile.yahoo.com/go

    Without Yahoo Go

here is how to set up mail for Blackberry

To get started with Yahoo! Mail on your BlackBerry smartphone, you will need a Yahoo! Mail account, wireless access, and BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS).

1Click on the Personal Email Setup icon from your home screen.

2Read and agree to the Terms and Conditions.

3Enter your Yahoo! email address and pasword, and then click Next.

4Select OK to confirm account setup.

Yahoo! does not charge for this service. However, carrier airtime and other usage fees and taxes may apply. Check your wireless plan for details.

*If you are unable to find the Personal Email Setup icon, please contact your wireless operator for the appropriate URL for the BlackBerry Internet Service website

On the BlackBerry site I found some help

    this may help with setup.
