About a week ago I bought an ipod shuffle. I followed all the instructions that came in the box. I fully charged the ipod. I downloaded everything you need to setup. But when I tried to access the itunes store it didn't open. The homepage appeared so I tried typing in a song in the search engine, but when I pressed enter nothing happened. To be honest I'm quite new to all this and I'm not really sure what I'm doing. My next idea was to open up a green icon called Itunes store, but each time I try to open it up it says "Itunes could not connect to the itunes store. The network could not be reached. Make sure your network connection is active and try again." Like I said I don't know that much about computers, but I think that this is the problem, whatever it means. If anyone out there knows what I'm doing wrong and how to fix this please tell me. This is really getting frusterating. Thank You.

  1. Everytime u open up the iTunes Store,u have to be connected to the Internet.U have to open up an iTunes account and have a Credit Card,iTunes Gift Card or iTunes Music Card to download and buy music if u want to :)

  2. Were you connected to the Internet when you opened the iTunes store. You must be online to be on the store. it sounds like your not online.

  3. try going to another site to see if it works, if not unplug your modem for ten seconds and plug it back in and if that doesn't work call your isp (internet service provider)
