I cant change my desktop background or screensaver help!!!!!!!!?

on my display properies u cant see the background or screensaver tab. Right now for my bakground is some sort of advert for spyware. SOME1 HELP PLZ!!!

take a deep breath.

you might want to start out by re-booting your computer.  exit all programs and then exit Windows.  wait a minute and then turn the computer on.

if this doesn't work, click on Control Panel (off the START command, bottom left of screen), then check for Display.

I had that problem. It caused my computer to crash. my best advice is to get into safemode and save all important files. then restore your pc back to when u first got it, using a recovery disk. Its most likely not what you want to hear, but I hope I helped.
