I cant connect my wireless router can you help?

i just got a trendnet wireless router and i cant connect it to my roadrunner modem i did everything the instructions told me to but its not working. Can someone guide me through the process.

you have to plug the modem into the router with an ethernet cable (rj45 to rj45).  this will give signal to the router, which in turn send it out wirelessly.  most are plug and play now so your laptop/pc should see the signal as soon as it is on.

You probably have to clone your MAC address of one of your computers in the router.

Make sure you setup the security properly on your wireless!  Most people don't know how to do this.  Check out youtube for videos on how to do this.
