  1. Okay, I know this isnt what you want to hear, but your mom is right. Like it or not, people WILL judge you by your apperence. If you are at a job interview, and your earlobes are strecheted out, do you think that your 1st imperisson will be as good? I know people are really stupid to assum things about people, but we all do it (sadly.) Do you know you have to have sugery to get your earlobes back to normal?

If you still want these, make a deal with your mom. Maybe when your 15, and you still want them, you can get them. But dont be all (mooooooom. Everybody is getting them!" That wont get you anywhere. Good luck!

  2. those are hideous! dont get those.

  3. ew

  4. I would think about it more. You are 13, which means you are in the middle of development. I had piercings when I was a bit older, and they are great in that you can take them out and there is only the tiniest scar to remind you of what was there.

Stretching is more like a tattoo than a piercing because it is REALLY hard to return the skin to normal after you have had plugs etc.

I would start with something small and work my way up to that later on. Maybe try to convince her to let you put a larger gauge ring in your ear first (like a barbell/ring that is a little larger than average size) and work your way up to the larger gauge that you want as you get older and more sure about what you want to do to your body, and also your mum starts to trust your decisions about your body and what you do with it.

I would also look at pictures of people who have the gauge you want, but pictures without the plugs etc so you can get a realistic idea of what your ear will look like WITHOUT the jewellery in.

Body mods are a lifestyle choice, so make sure you want this for the right reasons, that it's not just a phase or because other people you know have them. There are plenty of scars that I gave myself when I was 15 that I wish I didn't have now that I'm older. You can't go back, so you gotta do it right the first time...it's most important that you can love your body, mods or not :)

  5. y the h**l would u want that c**p in ur ears

    its very unattractive and

its just a faaze in a yr or so ur not goin to like it

my cuzin did it and after a yr she hated it PLUS it makes those big holes in ur ear even wen u take them out

very ugly do not get it!

  6. i think that its disgusting and u shouldn't do that !!!

  7. cool ive always wanted these but i have never had the confidence to actually get them. you should go for it if you are really sure. maybe not so big. but just tell her that they start of small anyway so if you do it then regret it you wont have massive holes in your ears. my friend has the same thing and when she takes them out they shrink back to slightly bigger than earing hole size. so my advice is go for it, but not too big and tell your mum the above and she should come around to the idea. but you are only young and you should really really think about it before you make such a desion.

  8. Those look to be about 7/16 of an inch or 1/2 an inch.

Your mom is right- a 13 year old more than likely will not want your piercings stretched when you're older (and they are considered a permanent modification after a certain size).

Plus, most teens don't have the maturity, patience, and dedication it takes to stretch properly.  It's a very long process and shouldn't be taken lightly.

A few months is not long enough to decide if you permanently want to alter your body.
