I cant decide what to name my son!?

Question

I am almost 33 weeks and everyone keeps asking me what my lil boy's name is going to be...I can't decide between these 3. What do you think?

Daymon(day-mon...not Damian)Anthony,

Dominic Christian, or Carter (idk what for a middle name wit this one...).

I have been thinjun about these for a looong time, this is my first baby n I CANNOT make up my mind...

This is what my family does when picking a name for their babies.

Go to the door of the backyard and yell the name 5 times in a row.  Then go into the bathroom and yell the name 5 times in a row.

Then, go in the kitchen and yell the name 5 times in a row.

Do you still like the name?

I would have to go with Sandy C on this one; Daymon Anthony is a great name for a boy. I also think you should spell it Damon, to avoid confusion. (Sorry if you didn't want to hear that, I know parents tend to use unique spelling to keep the name 'fresh') It's just that many people may call your son 'Damion' if you decide to name him Daymon and spell it that way. But, hey, it's your kid - use whatever spelling you and your (husband, I assume) like the best. =)

Actually...come to think of it, Dominic Christian is a super cute name too! Possible nick names for your child could be Dom and Chris. I don't know, just thinking ahead. =]

They are all great.  Of the three, one you give a pronunciation (which he will have to give at every roll-call for his entire life) and a second one you have no middle name to go with it, so why don't you pick the third name?  Dominic Christian is a great name and the only one of the three that is complete and doesn't require an explanation.

Daymon Anthony is cute, but I hate the spelling. You should spell it Dammon or Damon. Dammon is my favorite, it's my brother-in-law's name. I hate Dominic, but I like Carter. Some middle names for Carter could be:

How about Carter Daymon?  I think that sounds nice.  Of course, you can have a last name that really sounds bad with that but, take it from there, anyway.

Congrats and, you don't have to worry that people are asking you for the name now.  You DON'T have to make up your mind now.  When my daughter was born, I made my final decision after she was born, in the hospital.  A name is a long term committment.  No one says that your friends, family and neighbors even have to know what you chose until you give the good news of this birth and send out birth announcements.  They can learn all about him then.  No rush.  Don't stress over this.  

With one of my children, I didn't decide until about a week or so before because I heard a name that I never thought of before at that time and loved it and that's what my husband and I wound up picking.

P.S.  don't know if you're of Italian decent because I want to mention that I think Dominic is very ethnic, depicting that.  That in itself is fine, I just don't know if you want that.
