I use the free AVG anti-virus scan, the free symmantec anti-vrus scan and the ad-adware 2007 as well as an Norton 2002 firewall. For some reason, while I can find plenty of cookies and sometimes spyware, no viruses are ever found! Does that mean that my anti-virus protections aren't working? there should be some viurses by now! What should I do?

  1. hey whats your prob...think yourself lucky if you don't have a virus....you sound as if you think its not normal if you don't get one...lots of ppl are lucky that way and don't get them, wish it was the same for us all.

  2. always use an off location program like trend micro "housecall" as well as good PAID FOR anti virus AVG is not so efficient

  3. Because most of the computers are infected with spyware than viruses. Download and run spyware removal tool from http://www.spywaregeeks.com to check your computer for spyware.

  4. If you never find any viruses, then the chances are that you anti-virus is doing its job properly. I mean, its not just there to remove them... the whole idea is that it prevents viruses from ever reaching your system.
