I cant down load anything from microsoft help?

i need loads of Microsoft down loads but nothing Will down load do i need to change any settings an you advice in simple terms as I'm not hot on computers yet thank to al who answer

You could have any number of problems, but it would help if you were more specific about the symptoms.

Do you get an error message, does it hang, or something else?  Are you having problems downloading from any other sites?

What's the url of the page you are downloading from?  Is there a chance that this could be due to a transient outage, or has it been going on for at least a day?

You are probably using an illegal Windows licence. Here is how to tell:

you may have to contact microsoft support, I have experienced it a few times where I can download but they won't install. It is a glitch in the windows installer.exe file. Microsoft will solve it over the phone, they send you a batch file to run and all is solved. Make sure your updates are set to auto in control panel, start>control panel>live updates, check auto(recommended)
