Go to tools click on history and delete history and delete cookies

Go to tolls click on yahoo shortcut

click on this http://mail.yahoo.com

I feel your pain.  I'm at the point of giving up on Yahoo.  I have not been able to upload photos for several weeks, I have INCREDIBLY slow connections quite often.  And only w/ yahoo, nothing else.  The rest of my internet connections are fine.  Even when I reboot.  Now, I can't seem to  use Yahoo ecards.  And I PAY for my online email account so I don't get pop ups!!!!!!!!!!!!!  And it just doesn't seem to be working.  Is anyone at Yahoo even listening??????????  Do they care (no).  Why don't they send out an email that they're having problems.  No.... that would make too much sense.  I give up.  If I didn't pay, I wouldn't be as upset, but my money is hard earned and they don't even have the consideration to email that there's a problem.  And it's not just today, it's off and on for several weeks now, particularly with email.  And I suppose I can't get my money back, either.
