  1. If you do it online, yes. They will check your car is MOT`d and insured.

  2. Unfortunately, you'll need your V5 to tax online - you'll need all of your documents to tax in person at a post office.

    If you have the reminder, you will be able to tax online using the reference number on it;

    http://www.taxdisc.direct.gov.uk/EvlPort...

  3. You will be asked to produce insurance and Mot at a Post office.

    Try to buy online from the DVLC website.They have records which will tell them you have both of those.Remember-even if you have got a new tax disc it has to be on the windscreen when the old one expires otherwise you can be done for failing to display.

  4. no you have to apply for a new document swanze cause without them you cant tax the car

  5. To tax online you will need either the v5 or the tax reminder they send you in the post.  At the post office you need the MOT certificate and insurance certificate and to fill in a form if you don't have the road tax reminder.

  6. you can do it online at the dvla website and you dont need to show any documents otherwise if you do it in person you need mot certificate and insurance
