I am not looking to gain rankings, I just want my site to appear when some one searches for the name of my company. I tried to use some meta tags that were supposed to be up to date but I didn't have any luck. Can anyone plug some tags in for me that will work? I have already tried tags from various websites. I would greatly appreciate the help. I am stumped.

This is the default html of the published website.

<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en" lang="en">

<head>

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" />

  1. Your domain was registered 4/30 - and it appears as if DNS was adjusted yesterday.  Google has not indexed your site yet.  Sign up for Google webmaster tools.  It&#039;ll show you when you&#039;ve been indexed.

    Some are saying Flash cannot be indexed.  This is incorrect.

    Google CAN read SWF files.  And has been able to do so since 2004.  This is NOT to say it indexes it as well as it does standard web text.  But there are ways to optimize the content on Flash as well, that, when deployed alongside link-building campaigns can achieve nearly as good of results.

    At conferences I have talked to several people at Google recently and they tell me they&#039;re getting better and better at indexing it - and work directly with Macromedia/Adobe to make it work.

    I hate Flash for at least 20 reasons. One because it diverts money from web marketing efforts that could really make a difference such as copywriting and SEO.  Flash doesn&#039;t usually impress anyone, while great content and uniquely remarkable offers does.

    Google has this to say about Flash sites...

    ....Use a text browser such as Lynx to examine your site, because most search engine spiders see your site much as Lynx would. If fancy features such as Javascript, cookies, session IDs, frames, DHTML, or Flash keep you from seeing all of your site in a text browser, then search engine spiders may have trouble crawling your site....

    Please be careful what advice you take and ask an experienced SEO when it comes time to optimize your project.

  2. Just give it a few days, perhaps a couple of weeks... It will be indexed. I would also recommend that you try to get a few third party quality backlinks. This will also help search engines find your site.

  3. Hi

    Flash is like a black box for search engines.  Search engines can&#039;t see your text and for this reason you can&#039;t get rank in google and search engines. If i was you i was removing it imediately and redesigning it with html etc...

    Kind regards
