  1. Like the others said, pull back on the joystick for the backswing and push forward for the downswing.


  2. pull back and forward on your joystick

  3. For Xbox at least, simply pull the left stick back straight, when it reaches the top of your backswing, push it forward. You can tap X to get a power boost, but I'd suggest waiting until you master the normal swing first.
