i cant get a bt landline, is there any other service provider i can go with - really need broadband and i don't live in a cable area

If you are in the UK and can't get a BT line, then perhaps you will have to look at a satellite system, I have just had a very quick look around the internet and found this web site www.satsig.net  they seem to be able to advise on systems for the UK.

well you have two options. One, sign up for a service with a cell phone company that has good service in your area. Not a regular service. A computer broadband service. They will give you a card to put it your laptop, or a usb hookup for your desktop (at a price, no more then 100 dollars) and will bill you about 20-60 dollars a month. Or, if you have direct tv, or any other service like it that i dont know about, they may offer a service where you can get internet from your satallite dish.. Hope this helps!
