    what is the model # of your computer?

    does it have an ethernet port on it already?

    are you on XP and thinking of upgrading to Vista?

    Does it work on other computers but not the one with Vista?

    What type of internet do you have DSL? or Cable/broadband?

    Are you connectiong via a router or directly from the Modem?

    I have vista on two of my computers and it works fine
