I cant get my hair to stay!!?

Question

well i have always tried to get the scene hair look. i know exactly how to do it, but my hair just wont stay!! i have fine hair. does that matter?? i mostly need it to stay volumey. i tease it, spray it, and use voluming shampoo & conditioner, but it just wont stay!! any help???

hair spray. LOTSSSSSSSSS OF HAIR SPRAY!

even use gel if its taht bad. after u spray like half a can dry it with the blow dryer on low it should stay an also use aussie "sprunch" it works really good it says to use it for curls but its basically hairspray that makes ur hair literally not move once u put it in..use alot tho

Yes, having fine hair is most likely the reason.  Fine hair is as much of a curse as course hair.  Nothing works unless you like really stiff hair.  Try getting some hair glue (GOT 2 B Glued @ walmart) and use a little on your roots and blow dry.  Use VERY sparingly.  The stuff is the consistency of Elmer's if not thicker, but it works.

try a volumizing mouse and when you are blow drying your hair, use the brush and start at your roots pulling them upward with the brush while blow drying. then hair spray. it will really help.

Do it with wet hair

Then before you tease use moose or gel then hairspray

THEN you tease it and spray!

Try some hair gel and/or more hair spray.

What you're doing will help but now you need to add in some styling product other than just spray. Use a pomade or putty or cement gel, work it through your hair then use the spray. Best stuff you can get is from a salon since your hair is really fine. It might help if you get your hair cut that way too, if its too long in some areas it wont work.
