I cant get the door panel on my 1998 dodge dakota off please help

i can get almost the whole door panel off except i dont have power windows so the window k**b gets in the way and i cant seem to figure how to get it off. please help. thank you

you can also use a pair of needle nose pliers on it to get the clip off or go to the parts store and get a cheap clip tool they cost about 5 bucks and it will easily remove the window crank for you,that's the best way to do it use the right tool ,when you do this be careful not to loose the clip it will probably fly off ,and their real easy to loose,you,ll need it going back on with the window crank,good luck.

  There's a small wire c clip that snaps in a slot on the window crank. It just pops off you can get it with a small flat screwdriver. Just make sure when your putting it back on put the clip on the window crank before you install it on the shaft it will just snap on then.
