I cant get to sleep.. Can you help me?!?

I cant get to sleep... It takes me about an hour or even longer just to actually get to sleep -.-" Can you help me? I need to kno how to be able to get to sleep better and have a better night sleep. School is also starting in a few days and i dont wanna be tire ='[ plz help!

  1. I'll pass on the rules of thumb I've been told:

    1.  Get up the same time every morning

    2.  Plan your bedtime to allow enough sleep (8hrs +_)

    3.  Finish eating at least 2 hrs before going to bed.

    4.  Use bed only for sleeping - no reading, eating, watching TV, etc.

  4. I take a shower or a bath before bed.  It helps me relax.  I listen to coast to coast on the radio as I go to sleep.  http://www.coasttocoastam.com/

  5. exercise in the morning and dont eat a large meal. If I work out before bed, my body is ready to go! also if I eat a big meal, my belly aches when i try to lay down to sleep.
