  1. It's likely what's known as sleep paralysis or waking sleep. Same condition that coined the term "nightmare" and brought about the figures of incubi and succubi.

When you sleep, your body is essentially cut off from your brain in order to prohibit you from acting out your dreams. Sometimes this process occurs before you fall asleep or after you've woken up resulting in sensations like inability to breathe or move, pressure on your chest, and sometimes that you're being lifted or floating.

Though it's disconcerting, it's not going to hurt you. Check out the Wiki on it for more info.

  2. Wow, my twin lol. JK

I have had this problem also, when I was younger. When I finally went to the dr about it, I was told it was a middle stage sleep walker. Middle stage, meaning you body is asleep but body is trying to wake out of it. I still sleep walk and hubby finds it quite amuzing, however, if he walked in our shoes when this happens I think he would reconsider.

The best advise I can give you is only from my own experience; and that is too Stop, and relax when this happens. You freak yourself out more because your 1) still scared from the dream and 2) can't move. So stay relaxed and listent to yourself breathe for a few minutes. Put your hand on your heart if that helps and count to 10. After you have calmed down then you will be able to move you legs. If not, just give me a holler. I can see if I can think of some more things to help.

    Thanks and hope this works!

  3. Well when you are sleeping, you might be laid on your bed the wrong way and might cause blood not to circulate in some body part. For example, you feel like you can't run because you might have one leg over another and when that happens your legs will fall asleep and you won't be able to move them. As for your voice, when you are sleeping in real life you might be yelling but no sound will come out. So it really no difference from the dream.

    Hope this helps.

  4. I think you're feeling under a lot of pressure, or stressed out about certain things. Perhaps it's your new school year or not being able to reach a goal - even after putting in all your efforts. You feel trapped in a situation that you can't change or control, and it frustrates you deeply. Also, as you mentioned your weight (which is super skinny!! ->> gain some weight), maybe you're trying to gain/lose weight...and it's not working out the way you expected, so it just randomly ties in with the emotions you're feeling.

But no worries, your mind is purging out those thoughts sub-conscientiously through your dreams:)

  5. Why dont you tell all this to your doctor?
