I cant hear my dvd on my computer!?

Question

I have a dvd recorder and i recorded a show now i want to put it on my computer. i opened it up in real player and windows media player, the video works but the sound doesnt. i can hear videos on youtube and the music in my itunes.i put the burned disc in a regular dvd player hooked up to my tv and can hear it fine so whats wrong with it? why cant i hear it on my computer?

As annoying as it is, some dvd's especially copied ones only work in certain dvd players. Sorry.
