The FASi (Fachvereinigung Arbeitssicherheit) is a grouping of three other authorities -:

VDGAB (Verein Deutscher Gewerbeaufsichtsbeamter) that broadly looks after protection at work.

VDRI (Verein Deutscher Revisionsingenieure) that employs safety experts.

VDSI (Verband Deutscher Sicherheitsingenieure) that oversees environmental issues at work.

The Berufsgenossenschaften are responsible for the professional accident insurance in companies.
