I cant install a sound system to my tv?

MY SYSTEM HAS A DVD PLAYER TOO AND I INSTALLED IT TO MY 52" VIZIO. I CAN WATCH MOVIES AND LISTEN TO MUSIC BUT WHEN I WANT TO WATCH REGULAR TV WITH MY SYSTEMS SPEAKERS I HAVE NO AUDIO NOR VIDEO.

  1. If you have no audio or video when trying to watch TV you have something hooked up improperly. Do you have cable or satellite? Are you running OTA and forgot to hook your antenna up? There are a lot of things that could cause these symptoms. Double check your wiring.

  4. Sounds like you need to connect the audio output from your cable/sat box to your receiver's audio input and make sure that input is turned on.

    PS  :  If you list the make and model of your reciever and any other equipment, it will be easier for us to look up exactly what you have and how to hook it all up.

  5. You should have listed the make and model of your A/V receiver so that proper recommendation could be made.

  6. Maybe there is something wrong with the cables or the sound system itself. Try checking all the parts and make sure to attach it according to its purpose.
