I cant install the sims 2?

Question

So ive had the sims 2 for about 3 years and I always uninstall the game then reinstall it but this time, i tried to install the game but when it was installing my game stopped at 23% and says "a problem occurred when trying to transfer the file E:\TSData\Control\control0.dat from the media." I've tried everything even the way when you manuly install the game. I know I have the space and I can install other games, just not the Sims and my sims games are in great condition.

HAVE U TRIED MORE THAN ONCE REINSTALLING IT AND HAVE THIS PROBLEM? If so it might be your game
