  1. generally the router hompage is 192.168.0.1 unless you changed it, if you changed it you could reset the router to make it 192.168.0.1 again.

or to find its current address use "tracert" command in command prompt (i think its under accesoreis in XP, or just type cmd on vista in the search bar.

its nromally the second ip address shown ( the first being your PCs IP address.

ps, if your using a ip address finder website, that is not you routers ip, but your computers, so it ownt work.

  2. You don't go to your IP address to get to the router configuration. You go to the router's IP address.

After you reach the page it will ask you for a username and password. If you didn't change it you can find the defaults here:

    http://www.routerpasswords.com/

  3. Type  this into your internet explorer search bar!!

    192.168.0.1

And  for the Modem go to control panel.

Click on Computer networking and sharing.

    Click on network connects.

Then click on the Modem you want enable.

There should be a thing somewhere on the page saying enable.

If not then double click on the modem.

  4. usually most routers IP address are http://192.168.x.x not www:?????.com. Not sure how your modem configuration is setup as it sounds like you have to many LAN networks going at once.
