My three favorites boy's names on the planet are Alex, Drew, and Liam. They can be short for Alexander, Andrew, and William, or they can stand alone. I'm way too young, but if I have a son someday he'll probably end up with one of those names.
Alex and Alexander are reminiscent of Alexander The Great, and what boy doesn't want to be THE GREAT??? Alex is sorta cute in a boyish way, and Alexander has a nice strong, masculine sound to it.
Drew is a cool name, modern with out sounding too futuristic, it's got a cool sound, while it's derivitive, Andrew, is so classic and strong.
Liam is an awesome Gealic nickname for the strong, manly name William. No, you don't have to be Irish to use Liam, it's uncommon with a cool, modern, yet classic sound, and I think it sounds way better than Will for William. LOVE IT.
A couple other names: Saxon, Roman, Jake, Ryan, Cameron, Rowan, Josh
Whatever you decide to name your little boy, make sure it's a name that can follow him through his life with no regrets. I recommend choosing a name that's uncommon enough that he'll feel unique, and he won't just blend in with the crowd, but not so unusual that no one's ever even heard of it.I like names, like the 3 I suggested, that have cutley boyish cool nicknames that can be used among friends and at least through the grade school years, but with classic, masculine names to fall back on when you need to make the best impression.
