i have tried deleting cookies,cache memory, temp files,browsing history.but its not opening still.PLEASE HELP. cant open yahoo games room of chess.gets disconnected the second the applet window opens.

As you already proved: it's not your fault. Deleting cookies, cache memory, temp files, browsing history and so on will not correct the problem.  

Good news: the problem will eventually go away by itself.

(1) Almost always, you can temporarily use another room. Maybe not.

Sometimes, I just chose to do something else for a few minutes and try later..

I recommend: do not bother reformatting and rebuilding your computer.

I used some exaggeration to make a point there.

(2) The cause doesn't matter much. We just want them to fix it.

As far as users have been told so far, the only evidence encountered indicates that this happens when Yahoo! requires maintenance on their computer servers.  If this is not the reason, perhaps somebody at Yahoo will make the actual reason known.  Again: it will go away by itself, always quickly from my experience.
